Day 1
Salutation to Sri Lanka by a representative of company, garlanding and relocate in Colombo city Hotel. Give the impression of being around main capital of Sri Lanka by shopping tour, by explaining historical and colonial places make the tour passionate. Dinner & Overnight at Colombo.

Day 2
Morning leave for Kandy en route visit the Elephant park a Government supported Elephant Orphanage which rears abandoned Elephants- The Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya ,see its magnificent Orchid house and the grove of splendid trees all planted by eminent world figures- in the evening leave on a sightseeing tour of Kandy including visit a Kandian arts and Crafts association to find craftsmen fashioning Brass, Silver and Lacework, the lake drive Bazaar – visit the temple of the tooth- it houses the tooth relic of the Buddha , rescued from cremation flames in 543 B.C. and brought to Sri Lanka in the 4th century . The relic cannot be seen as it is encased with in seven jeweled Golden caskets , each worth a King’s ransom and also witness a Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance. Dinner & Overnight at Kandy.

Day 3
After breakfast at Hotel , leave for Sigiriya via Dambulla. In Dambulla you must visit cave temple with its rock ceiling covered in one large sweep of colorful frescos, some of which dates back to over 2000 years. This cave temple have the larger number of Buddha’s statues all house in one place including a 14 meter long, colossal figure of the recumbent Buddha carved out of the rock. Then proceed to Sigiriya and climb up Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by king Kashyapa (477-495AD). The ‘lion rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200meteres from the scrubbed jungle. The rock was the inner most stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart , and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world renowned frescos of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Dinner & Overnight at Sigiriya. |

Day 4
After Breakfast at Hotel start journey to Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa ancient kingdom, which was Sri Lanka’s royal medieval capital between the late 11th and 13th century. After visiting Polonnaruwa Museum, which will provide an over view of this ancient city and its heritage, move on to exploring the ruins themselves. Here you can see the ruins of the royal palace, the galviharaya- where 4 splendid statues of the Buddha in ‘upright’, ‘sedentary’ and ‘recumbent’ postures carved out of rock, the audience hall, the lotus bath, king Parakramabahu statue, and the Parakramasamudraya lake built by king Parakramabahu the great. There are also monuments of famous places of worship such as the Shiva temple, the Lankathilake , the Watadage, the Galpotha, the Kiri vehera, and the remains of the famous of a former Temple of the tooth relic. Then proceed to Trincomalee or Passekudah or Kalkudah.
